The task was to take 100 photographs in 30 minutes, something that turned out to be more difficult than imagined! On a walk I decided to focus on taking pictures of the various barriers we met along the way, and here are the 7 edits I like the most.

A brand new fence. I edited this to increase the contrast between the black steel and soft, warm tones and textures of the sorrounding grasses.

An old and broken fence. The editing is intended to evoke old sepia toned Victorian prints of bucolic country scenes.

A simple barrier which did not appear to be there for any particular reason!

Old post, new wire. The landowner seems keen to remind everyone that whilst the fencing may be new the boundary is old and established.

A no-frills, everyday, working barrier. Nothing neat and tidy about this one, just doing its job.

Someday all these barriers will be gone.
